Today I did something different. I published the first two parts of a short story serial. The title is “Montana Teacher” and tells the story of Sarah Collins, a teacher in Battleground, Indiana. After her husband is killed in a tornado, Sarah takes her five year old twin boys and moves to Mountain View, Montana, for a much higher paying teaching position. Tragedy continues to affect her life. Part one tells of her agonizing over the wisdom of her decision to move.
Tal Evans is a rancher whose wife dies in childbirth and leaves him with twin girls.
They become more than friends, and when another serious problem arises. Despite the string of problems, she learns to face them head-on as she tries to make a betteer life for herself and her boys.
